Hong Kong International Education Expo

The Hong Kong International Education Expo was held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre from 4th to 6th August 2006 and was targeted at secondary and tertiary study.

The fair was widely publicised via television, newspaper, web, print and direct marketing.

58,573 visitors came to the fair which was attended by over 200 exhibitors from 11 countries.

Education New Zealand commissioned NZTE to manage a New Zealand pavilion. 10 New Zealand providers attended the pavilion.

Two New Zealand seminars were held. The first was by a group of Hong Kong ‘New Zealand Educated’ Student Ambassadors speaking about their take on the benefits of studying in New Zealand. The second presentation, fronted by NZTE, provided more factual information on the New Zealand Education System, quality assurance, education pathways, living costs and accommodation, and application procedures.
