CCIEE Fair Series

The CCIEE tertiary fairs were held in Beijing, Harbin, Chengdu, Shanghai, Nanjing and Shenzhen from the 14-29 October 2006. 

The CCIEE fairs are approved by the Ministry of Education of China and sponsored by China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) one of the two main operational education agencies under the Chinese Ministry of Education.

The fairs attracted extensive national and local print, radio, web and television coverage.

27 Countries attended all or some of the fairs, amounting to 472 Exhibitors (including 30 Chinese exhibitors).

The two largest fairs were Beijing with 30,000 visitors and Shanghai with 20,000. Approximately 80% of visitors to these fairs were interested in graduate or postgraduate study.

All 8 New Zealand universities attended a number of the fairs. 1 secondary school, ITP, and an intermediate school also made appearances.
