Bangkok_Little_kidsThe New Zealand Education Fair series in Thailand is a flagship NZ marketing event.  The activity provides an opportunity for marketers to raise their profile, recruit students, maintain relationships and meet with active agents in the market.

2012 marks the 18th year that New Zealand Education Fairs have been held in Thailand.

In 2011 we had a New Zealand inc approach with New Zealand sponsors participating in the Fair, including Air New Zealand, Zespri, Tourism New Zealand and other New Zealand companies that were part of the fiar through New Zealand Trade and Enterprise.

In 2010, ENZ had to unfortunately cancel these flagship events due to political unrest, that made us feel it was unsafe to encourage any travel to Bangkok at that time. ENZ has continued to keep New Zealand's presence in Thailand through generic promotions and bringing out 18 Thai Specialist Agents to New Zealand in August.

An active group of Thailand agents committed to New Zealand education underwent a New Zealand Specialist Training and Testing Programme in May 2009.  More information about the programme can be found HERE .  The 29 Specialist Agents will be invited to the Agent Seminar in Bangkok (7 June) and the networking evenings, their details can be found HERE.

ENZ will organise the branding and the promotions for this event. We will organise participation from other New Zealand companies, such as Air New Zealand and Tourism New Zealand to present to the Thai Visitors a unified New Zealand inc approach to the market.

The Market Briefing, on Thursday 7th June, will cover information about the market, education agents, changes to policy, the current economic and political environment and New Zealand immigration statistics and trends. It will also cover information about the fair, and the promotional work that was undertaken on ensure visitors to the events.

After this an Agent Seminar will be organised and following on with a Networking function

with agents and alumni . This is good opportunity to meet, and mingle with these important groups in relaxed atmosphere.

Thailand_Sector

First time student visa applications for New Zealand from Thailand has steadily increased over the last few years. It is important to continue to support local agents and continue to keep a unified presence in Thailand.

These events are suitable for all sectors.

Industry Levy funding supports this event.
