Export Education Innovation Programme - open for another tender round Monday 20th November 2006!

The Export Education Innovation Programme (EEIP) was launched by the Minister of Education in 2004 and is administered by Education New Zealand.

The EEIP is an initiative aimed at further developing the New Zealand export education industry as a world class and innovative provider of education overseas; and designed to encourage educational institutions to develop offshore education opportunities and partnerships with overseas institutions and organisations. The annual funding is fully contestable and allocated to innovative diversification projects, according to a detailed assessment of all proposals that are evaluated by a specialist industry advisory group.

The fifth round tender RFP will be available from Monday 20th November at http://www.educationnz.org.nz/indust_eeip.html

Once you have read the RFP, (which we strongly recommend you read in conjunction with the comments for improvement of your application document, found at http://www.educationnz.org.nz/indust/eeip/EEIPGuidelinesupdatedNov2006.pdfPlease do not hesitate to contact ENZ for further advice on whether your proposal may meet the criteria:

French Polynesian Higher Studies Forum

The French Polynesian government has formally invited 7 New Zealand institutions with which it has a special relationship to attend a Higher Studies Forum, to be held in Papeete early next year.  In addition to the selected institutions, English Language Providers who have a long history in marketing in French Polynesia are making arrangements to attend.  A total of 20 booths have been set aside for New Zealand.

Other interested New Zealand institutions are welcome to enquire about their participation directly to the Honorary Consul in Tahiti, Mr Francis Mortimer at francis.mortimer@airnz.co.nz

The Forum is scheduled for Wednesday 14th February.  The French Polynesian Market Profile is available HERE (Link to Market Profile).

Due to the unique nature of this activity, it is not being run as part of the PACE 2007 marketing programme.
