Registration of Interest – Dissemination of Research on Interactions with International Students.

Education New Zealand under the Export Education Industry Development Fund (EEIDF) would like to welcome registrations to attend a dissemination presentation of the 2004 EEIDF commissioned research A6: Interactions with International Students.

The research was conducted by Victoria University’s Centre for Applied Cross Cultural Research and was lead by Professor Colleen Ward. The final research report documented the findings of five inter-related studies on perceptions of and interactions with international students in New Zealand.
The first part of the report is composed of three studies that examine interactions with internationals students in educational institutions. The second part is made up of two community based studies: the results of a national household survey, and the findings of field work and interviews with key stakeholders in four New Zealand locations.

The report was initially launched at the 2005 ENZ Conference in Christchurch. The purpose of these Forums is to ensure that staff who interact with International Students on a regular basis can access the full benefit of the research and the accompanying presentation.

There will be three dissemination presentations overall run in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington at the end of August. If you are interested in attending the presentation, please click on the following link to register your interest.
