Upcoming Workshops – Recruitment and Marketing Training – sector specific advanced workshops

Earlier this year Education New Zealand commissioned marketing and recruitment workshops (held in Auckland and Christchurch), which covered a number of topics relevant to all sectors over a 3 day period.

We will be offering advanced one day marketing and recruitment workshops early next year.  These workshops would offer the opportunity for participants to develop more in depth knowledge in specific areas. Each workshop would be sector specific, and it is anticipated a maximum of three topics per sector will be covered.

If you are keen to find out more about these workshops, please register HERE, or contact Kathy Phillips.

PACE 2010 Open

Detailed information about PACE 2010 activities is now online HERE.

and the online registration system is officially open. We thank those eager folk who have submitted their PACE 2010 registrations already!

PACE activities require a considerable allocation of time and financial resources from ENZ and institutions if they are to be successful. We encourage those interested in PACE 2010 events to register online prior to Monday 1st December 2009, particularly for those events that occur in the first three months of the new year. The online registration function is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until the event reaches the maximum limit or registration deadline.

Please keep in mind that some popular PACE 2009 events quickly reached capacity, to avoid the disappointment of missing out we recommend registering as early as possible. Registrations are accepted on a first in first served basis.

Promotions Page Live

A new section of our industry website has been developed and has recently gone live.  The pages summarise the generic promotional campaigns that have been undertaken by Education New Zealand.

There is a section featuring promotional activities in Depth Markets since 2006. The pages cover activity in priority markets; China, India, South Korea and Viet Nam and the composite markets of Brazil, Germany, Thailand, North America and Malaysia.

Generic promotions which cover non-Depth markets are also featured on the new pages, including activities on the New Zealand Educated website, on Facebook, in print study guides, and much more.

New Zealand Specialist Agent Training

Education New Zealand held its first New Zealand Specialist Agent Training Day in Tokyo on Thursday, 29 October, leveraging off the Tourism NZ Giant Rugby Ball and the New Zealand hype associated with the Bledisloe Cup game in Tokyo.

30 agents from Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka confirmed attendance, of which 27 sat the multi-choice test at the end of the day. 74% of agents passed the test and have now moved onto the reference stage, we are now following up with provided Industry contacts. Thank you in advance to those asked to provide a reference for involved agents.

We will continue to add updates to E-news as we progress with the list of New Zealand Specialist Agents in Japan.
